Yuu Otonari (Japanese: 音成 遊, Yū Otonari) is the heroine's next door neighbor in TMGS2 who speaks to her through his window. He has a crush on the heroine and watches out for her wellbeing. For her sake, he enthusiastically gathers information and goes out to do "research" on potential love interests and friends.
He is quite popular at school, and helps the heroine out in matters like making Valentine's Day chocolates. If the heroine has no close friends, he will accompany her to events like visiting the New Year's shrine, and will visit her during festivals. Outside of this, they will spend New Year's together staying up late and watching TV.
He is the one who notifies you of bombs and provides information on friends and boys, as well as their relationship with you through the Tokimeki Panel. He also provides a tutorial and practice on skinship.

- The name Yuu means "play" (遊).
- Yuu's surname Otonari means "sound" (音) (oto) and "become" (成) (nari).
- Yuu's family name, Otonari (音成), is a play on the word otonari (お隣), which means "neighbor".
