Goro Hanatsubaki (Japanese: 花椿 吾郎, Hanatsubaki Gorō) is a world-famous and renowned fashion designer, and long-time friend of Ikkaku Amanohashi. He is the owner of Boutique Jess and General Store Simon. He also runs the monthly fashion column on Hatabaki.Net.
He is very eccentric and has a short temper. However, he is also greatly respected and referred to with the "sensei" honorific.
As a world-famous designer, he has become a household name. As a result, the Hanatsubaki name carries great prestige. He is the uncle of Himeko, Karen, Michiru, and Hikaru, who are also involved in fashion design and act as fashion consultants to the heroine in each Girl's Side game from 2nd Kiss onwards.
He returns again in Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 4th Heart to give the the protagonist a part-time job as an editor at the Habataki Watcher.
